The Crescent series bits have 4 1/2” shanks and a small gag to help young horses seamlessly transition from direct reining and adjust to the feel of leverage in the training process. It still supports direct rein pull and provides effective rein pressure. The low ported chain mouthpiece provides some tongue relief, while the chain mouth conforms to the shape of the horse’s mouth. Sweet iron mouthpiece promotes salivation for a supple and comfortable fit. This material is designed to rust naturally and imparts a sweet taste to the horse. Stainless steel cheeks resist the harshness of the elements. Great for colts, seasoned horses, or leisure riding.
