The Steel Cowboy Ported Roller features a low sweet iron port mouthpiece with a copper roller, which helps encourage salivation and creates a softer feel in the horse's mouth. The low port applies pressure to the horse's palate and bars, relieving pressure from the tongue and promoting collection in older, trained, and seasoned horses. This bit is particularly suitable for older horses that are soft in the face. It has a 7 ½” shank, making it effective but not as aggressive as other mouthpieces offered by Steel Cowboy Bits.
